Leading the World in Climate Change Adaptation

The California Resilience Challenge is proudly supporting 12 visionary projects to help local communities across the state strengthen their resilience to climate change. From drought resilience in the Central Valley, to heat resilience in Southern California, to wildfire resilience in the redwoods, and to flood resilience in the San Francisco Bay, these 12 projects represent some of the world’s most innovative thinking on climate resilience. The projects were selected from over 80 submitted in response to the Challenge’s Request for Proposals released December 2019 and were chosen for their excellence and for the diversity of geographies and populations served.
