Sierra Business Council (SBC) is applying for funding to update Sierra County’s Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) and Safety Element of the General Plan to better prepare the County for climate threats from wildfire, extreme heat, and drought; and bring the County into compliance with state mandates (SB 379 and SB 2140).
