Engage local community groups, rural fire departments, and tribal, university, and federal partners in a needs assessment and feasability study to plan the Mattole Field Institute's Resilience, Education and Research Center to help California's rural communities respond to climate change, with particular emphasis on reducing the threat of wildfire.
