The Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians (FTBMI) along with local partners seeks to expand upon its current Tribal Climate Resilience Framework planning process towards integrating a native plant focused understanding of climate resilience through a native plants inventory and fieldwork to assess wildfire, drought, and extreme heat impacts on culturally significant plant species within the FTBMI territory.
