Western Riverside Council of Governments

Summary: Over the past few years, large swaths of California have been subject to power outages due to extreme weather events and the cumulative impacts of climate change, either directly affecting local infrastructure or necessitating public safety power shutoffs. The Western Riverside Council of Governments (WRCOG) developed an Energy Resilience Plan as a resource for WRCOG Members to develop and implement energy resilience solutions against power outages at critical facilities and infrastructure.
