South Fork Kings River

Summary: This report describes the results of an Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) pilot test conducted in the summer of 2021. Prior to testing, a work plan was developed (Geosyntec, 2020), which was approved by the Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) and Division of Drinking Water (DDW). This report also presents an analysis of the performance of the ASR Pilot Test, water quality changes during and after injection, and an assessment of the potential for broader implementation of ASR using existing wells throughout the SFKGSA.
