Yuba Water Agency

Summary: Project partners Yuba Water Agency (Yuba Water) and The Sierra Fund made impressive progress in creating new analyses and data to demonstrate how mine remediation and meadow restoration can be incorporated into forest health projects to increase climate resilience. This work created a strong case for alternative financial approaches to scale up multi-benefit landscape restoration that is desperately needed for headwater ecosystem adaptation in the face of climate change.
